a wonderful impression of this woodcut, assumed to be the first work in this medium that Orlik completed when in Japan in 1900; he apparently retained the blocks and printed this example to give to a student in 1910 as the pencil inscription in the lower margin reads Schüler H. Zöller z. fr. Er
