a magnificent impression of this RARE woodcut;
on laid japan paper with wire-marks,
two very small old hinge marks in upper edge of the margin, otherwise in exceptional condition with strong colours
EXTREMELY SCARCE
it can be assumed that Orlik did not take the blocks of this woodcut back to Europe with him and that he only printed proof impressions in Tokyo; there were no no subsequent printings
